Dr. Monica Granados is a Policy Advisor for Environment and Climate Change Canada, works on the Leadership Team for PREreview, and acts as a Scientific Data Scientist for various Federal and Municipal Departments. In this episode she talks us through her desire to make academic research more accessible to everyone through Open Access publishing. She discusses her academic background and her various job roles, explaining how they are all centred around her belief in the importance of public engagement within research and the policy making process.
