My research interests primarily focus on developing advanced computational approaches to guide bioproduct (e.g., chemicals, enzymes, and alternative proteins) design, testing, and manufacturing while estimating its environmental impacts. As a computational biologist with a food science background, I am also very interested in utilizing bioinformatics strategies to elucidate the unmapped molecular complexity of our diet, strengthening food safety, nutrition, and sustainability.
