Bio

Seyyed Emad Hooshmand holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Shahid Beheshti University in 2019. His main research interests are multicomponent reactions, material chemistry, deep eutectic solvents, and cross-coupling reactions. He has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed journal papers, a book, and three book chapters and has been awarded a patent. In 2021, Emad subsequently completed postdoctoral training at the University of Medical Sciences, Iran, funded by the Iran Science Elites Federation (ISEF), studying the synthesis of smart polymers as gene carriers and antibacterial agents. In 2021, Emad started a second postdoctoral fellowship at Alzahra University working on fluorescent heterocycles.
